What this site collects, why, and how to make it stop. Last updated 2026-08-03.

Who is responsible

Luís Pereira is the controller for personal data collected through lp-data.cloud. Questions and requests go to luiscper@gmail.com

What is collected, and why

  • Enquiries. Name, email, optional company and budget range, and the message you write. Collected to reply to you and, if it goes further, to scope the work. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a contract.
  • Newsletter and guide requests. Your email address, and which page you subscribed from. Collected to send what you asked for. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.
  • Site feedback reports. The title, description and optional email address you submit through the feedback form, plus the page you submitted from. These are filed as issues in a private code repository so they can be tracked and fixed, and are therefore visible to anyone with access to that repository. Legal basis: legitimate interest in maintaining the site. Do not use that form for anything sensitive.
  • Attribution. The first page you landed on and any campaign parameters in the URL, stored in your browser for the session and attached to a form you choose to submit. It records which page produced an enquiry. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you submit a form.
  • Analytics. Aggregate page and event data via Google Analytics 4, loaded with consent defaulting to denied. Advertising signals and personalisation are disabled.
  • Server logs. IP address, request path, user agent and timestamp, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the site.

What is not done

  • Your details are never sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing.
  • No advertising audiences or remarketing lists are built from this site.
  • No automated decision-making or profiling with legal effect takes place.
  • Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to anything.

How long it is kept

  • Enquiries that do not become work: deleted within 24 months.
  • Enquiries that become work: retained for the duration of the engagement and for as long as tax and contractual record-keeping requires.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so you are not re-added.
  • Analytics: retained according to the property's configured retention window.
  • Feedback reports: kept as issues for as long as the repository exists, so the history of what was fixed and why stays intact.
  • Server logs: a matter of days.

Processors

Third parties that process data on instruction: the email provider that delivers and receives messages, the analytics provider, the hosting provider, the code-hosting provider that stores feedback reports as issues, and the scheduling provider if you book a call. Each is bound by its own data processing terms. The current list is available on request.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — every newsletter email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

Requests are answered within one month. If you are in the EU or UK and are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to your national supervisory authority.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies of its own. Analytics storage is denied by default and only set if you consent. The attribution record described above uses browser session storage, is cleared when you close the tab, and never leaves your device unless you submit a form.
